DIY: Easy Easter Upcycles

So Easter 2015 is next week…can you believe that? It only seems like yesterday we were sat down for Christmas dinner. I am however very happy it has arrived, for me it’s the start of spring and sitting in the garden (maybe even the odd early BBQ). Here are some of my favourite simple Easter ideas that will only take 5 minutes and will make your house look fab for Easter and the beginning of spring:

Flowers

I just can’t get enough of spring flowers in their gorgeous uplifting colours. These look great in this easy to make pallet planter, use cut flowers in some oasis or little tins/jars of water and don’t forget the eggs!

Fill an old watering can with a mixture of spring flowers to welcome the garden back inside (you could always add some eggs for an eggstra (sorry) Easter touch).

Decorations

These vintage jelly moulds make a great centrepiece for your Easter table. Chocolate bunnies would work well too instead of the eggs.

Fancy something a little different from your usual Easter tree or wreath? String your decorated eggs inside an old picture frame and hang it up somewhere inviting.

Gifts

A DIY blog from us wouldn’t be complete without a vintage jar would it? Make these gorgeous little Easter gifts filled with goodies for children and adults to enjoy, it’s a little more fun than an off the shelf egg.

Fill an old egg box with Easter treats and decorate it however you fancy.
