Eco Flooring

The current trend for eco flooring is one we’re very happy about at Little Mill House as it fits perfectly into our upcycled interior design schemes. Here’s a little edit of 3 flooring types we just can’t get enough of at the minute:

Terrazzo has made a HUGE comeback and I’m so pleased. I have forever been fascinated with this recycled marble & stone flooring. There are some beautiful colour ways available from Eco Friendly Tiles who have recently launched their range, check it out here. How gorgeous is the colour way (in the photo above) on the staircase?

Cork is an amazing product & completely undervalued in interiors (in my opinion anyway). It’s an entirely renewable material giving it some of the best eco credentials in the world of flooring. Long gone are the days of cork floorings looking a little unexciting, check out Tigra (above), with its striking tiger striped look. Haro have a really lovely cork flooring range, have a look here.

No eco flooring edit would be complete without a beautifully, aged reclaimed wood floor would it? This reclaimed wood herringbone looks amazing in this industrial restaurant design. It’s salvaged by Havwoods from a variety of mills then completely reconditioned so it lays like a new floor would. They have reclaimed wood flooring in most finishes here.

Do you have a stylish eco flooring, if so I’d love to have a nosey & share on our Instagram, email them at natalie@littlemillhouse.co.uk.
