Sustainable Natural Christmas Moodboard

This Christmas is going to be a little different to previous years and much more parred back due to us having recently downsized AND moved into rented (with all of the restrictions that go with that). This means that our Christmas decor, which is usually pretty OTT with the rustic vibe and fairy lights, twigs & wreaths hanging from every wall. Do you remember my fairy lit hallway from the last few years? I’m so going to miss that!

Another element of this Christmas that is going to be parred back is the cooking. As we’ve a much smaller kitchen in our rental with a single oven I’m not going to be able to go as wild with the recipes & amount of different elements each dinner has. A great excuse for testing out all of the easy cook M & S party food right?

One thing that I will be doing as usual is making as many of the elements for our Christmas decor myself (& with the help of my little team member if he’s in the mood). We will be foraging on every dog walk from now until next week to get as many natural materials as we can. I’m also planning to upcycled glassware to create a new tablescape scheme without buying lots of new items, what I don’t have I’ll be sourcing from charity shops wherever possible, we also have a great craft scrap shop local to us that I will be paying a visit to this coming week.

Below is my moodboard that I’ve streamlined from the numerous Pinterest boards I have on the go at the moment, what are your plans for a sustainable Christmas this year?

More Christmas decor inspo from last year here.

Pin for later…
